Out of the box, this property was a bit bland, indistinguishable from the surrounding stock homes. So, we brought it to life by completely rethinking the way we use the available space. By removing the existing island and replacing it with two perpendicular counterparts, using a more delicately textured countertop, and introducing some color with indigo cabinetry, we created a much more inviting cooking and dining experience for the home owner and guests alike. The dining area was thoroughly warmed by crafting a floor-to-ceiling stone-worked mantel with built-in entertainment.

Sleek grey cabinetry with a quartz countertop provides a sense of elegance at the vanity, and the floating mirror with soft lights situated on either side invite guests to appreciate their own reflection. The sliding glass doors and built-in bench give depth to the previously cramped shower space.

This little bathroom is situated in the basement of our customer’s lovely lakewood home. Not featured in these photos, the most interesting aspect of this project was putting in the egress windows that bring a bit of light to the tiny subterranean space.
